SPECIALTY TIRES FOR HILLY TERRAIN

VENIERI 13.68B | ALLIANCE 375 AGRISTAR

5d7bec60f3847034df2d8-c3d33cdeIn Iowa — the nation’s top-producing state of both corn and soybeans — ag is big business, and so is ag equipment. When Ranko Equipment out of Dallas County, Iowa, contacted AXON about specialty tires for clearing and working patches of soft soil on hilly terrain, we came back with a solution that checked four boxes at once.

After using his new machine, a Venieri Model 13.68B, the owner came back to Ranko reporting a variety of issues with the existing 20.5R25 OTR tires: excessive compaction, low flotation, low traction and frightening stability issues on the rolling property. AXON answered by pairing the Venieri with extra-large Alliance 1000/50R25s on the front and rear, plus custom wheels to hold it all together. The result was a heavy machine that practically floated on top of the soil and kept the driver from fearing a disastrous rollover event.
