KIOTI RX7320 CUSTOM VEGETABLE PACKAGE
The San Joaquin Valley in California is known for its unique vegetable agriculture, thanks to its fertile soil, sunny weather, and access to water. The region produces a wide variety of vegetables, including tomatoes, lettuce, broccoli, peppers, and fruits like grapes and citrus. Agriculture in the San Joaquin Valley is also heavily reliant on irrigation systems.
This dealer in Bakersfield, California, had a customer needing their Kioti RX7320 set up to navigate through vegetable fields while hauling irrigation pipe from field to field. The process of laying irrigation pipes in vegetable fields typically involves several steps. First, the field is leveled to ensure an even distribution of water. Then, trenches are dug to lay the irrigation pipes, often made of plastic. The pipes are then connected to the water source, and valves are installed to control the water flow.
The challenge for the team at AXON was to devise a solution that was skinny enough not to destroy the crops but strong enough to handle the long vegetable rows in the San Joaquin Valley. Nothing off the shelf would work, so the engineering team at AXON built a custom tire and wheel package for this little tractor. From a unique offset to a custom paint color, this project was custom fit from start to finish.
