FIRESTONE FLOATS IN THE BAYOU

FIRESTONE 66x43.00-25 20PLY COMBINE FLOATS

The southern region of the United States presents unique problems for growers. The soil is different than it is in the Midwest, so if the equipment isn’t properly set up with the correct tires and wheels, soil compaction becomes a big issue. AXON was presented with this exact request from one of our dealer partners in Louisiana.

They had a customer who was running skinny tires on the rear of their combine, and it was sinking in the mud as they went through their field, causing soil compaction. Luckily, our team knew exactly what to do! This grower needed to be able to float across his wet fields in his heavy combine while creating no compaction. Our team got his combine armed with Firestone 66x43.00-25 20ply tires on the rears.
