REDUCING WIDTH AND FOOTPRINT FOR TOMATO HARVEST

CASE IH STEIGER 425 | ALLIANCE AGRIFLEX IF900/60R32

When a tomato grower needed to pull a semi-trailer behind his Case IH Steiger 435 tractor, he found his current wheel and tire setup too wide to fit on the rows alongside his harvester. To replace the dual 620/70R42 tires he was using, the grower called his dealer for a specific tire set he was positive was a match for him.

Our experts came up with a cost-effective solution — the Alliance IF900/60R32. With this package the customer was able to achieve their main objectives. First, reduce the overall width for the application, and second, maintain a large footprint to minimize compaction.

Happily, the grower took our advice, and AXON delivered the new tires and matching wheels within a couple days. Shortly after that, we were pleased to get a phone call with some good news from our dealer, who said his customer absolutely loved the new set and said he’d be back to do business again in the future.

This is the kind of business we love to do — no upsells or quick sales, just an expert ear, sound advice and solutions that exceed expectations.
